Maxine Lindauer is dedicated to providing inclusive, evidence based mental health care. She specializes in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and others. Maxine works with a wide range of diagnoses, supporting clients with compassion and clarity.

Maxine brings over 8 years of experience in clinical hypnosis,4 years in Somatic Experiencing and offers therapy services both virtually and in-person. (North Texas). Her integrative approach helps clients achieve lasting change by aligning therapeutic techniques with each person’s unique goals and values.

In addition to individual counseling, Maxine facilitates group therapy in Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), providing structured support in both individual and group settings. She is passionate about fostering safe, affirming spaces for healing and growth across diverse populations.

As a neurodiversity and disability affirming psychotherapist, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for my clients. I specialize in existential counseling, incorporating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, influenced by an integral philosophy tailored to meet the distinctive needs of each individual.

I work with adult clients who identify as autistic, have ADHD, or experience other mental health conditions, including OCD, depression, anxiety, trauma, and spiritual concerns. Recognizing the importance of multicultural intersectionality, I view each person as a whole, unique individual who is intrinsically valuable and lovable.

I am a LMSW, under the supervision of Anna Mae Fischli, LCSW-S. I have 9 years of experience, in social work, working with clients who have been victims of domestic violence, childhood trauma, sex trafficking, and substance abuse use. 

I have treated clients who have negative cognitive behaviors and worked with child advocacy agencies for children in the foster care system. I have worked in group therapy settings as well. 

I am committed to helping those who are in need of a listening ear and a safe place to let go of their past pain and trauma. I am passionate about helping individuals overcome trauma, anger, hopelessness, abandonments issues, and substance abuse use and  learn healthier decision making and coping skills.
